GitHub Getting Started

Let's get started with GitHub. What is GitHub you say? Well, from their website, "The world's leading software development platform. GitHub is a development platform inspired by the way you work. From open source to business, you can host and review code, manage projects, and build software alongside millions of other developers."

Sign up for an account and then download the gui for using the software. After you get a little familiar with the idea of sharing your code you can learn the code to do version control at the command line.
