R Star campaign

I have been looking for something to apply to the R Consortium for, to involve my CSU East Bay Statistics students with. From Kent Russell's PLOTCON talk, Research in Finance Alive with Interactivity, 26 mins, finding the RStars and staring R projects on github.

1. Trying to highlight some RStars.

2. To give some stars to their projects on github.

Also, our Department should apply to do some satRdays.
