Data Science Workgroup blog posts

Another topic of discussion today was the publication of blog posts on my blog by students interested in Data Science.

I would like to collect each year going forward the interesting discussions from the year and information about interesting projects students have been working on.

In the past and currently I have worked on MS level projects with students. For the most part, these projects have been turning into me printed out. Some of them have been filed in the library. These project are now not visible to current or future students.

I would like to project an opportunity to students to publish their blog posts on my blog here. The model for this is taking from R-bloggers and other excellent blogs that publish blog posts from people who contribute posts.

If there are good posts submitted, I will be encouraging students to submit their work on R-bloggers or other sites.

Plus I would like to be able to refer back to posts (discussions with students) from previous years and have something for future students to learn from.

I am looking forward to posting some interesting things in the near future.
