Google Next 2017
So last week was the Google Next 2017 Conference. Wow, what a great collection of talks. To watch the keynotes on YouTube see Google Cloud Next '17 - All Sessions
Many of the talks include discussion of the Google Cloud Platform and the Google Data Studio 360 or Cloud Data Lab or Google Analytics Studio, not sure what the final name is, but I like CloudDataLab.
You can register from your google account to have a free Google Cloud Platform account. With the account you can access all of Google's services for free for a year or some maximum amount. I am still trying to figure out how the pricing works.
Last year Google release TensorFlow. This year they have made use of it in their products and given open access to it.
Using the CloudDataLab you can access many data Visualization tools and many Statistical Machine Learning Algorithms.
And best thing, you get a Debian Linux command line to use the command shell and you can install software. You can even install R.
> sudo apt-get install r-base
I plan to start using the CloudDataLab in class next quarter.
You can create interesting Data Visualization. Here is my first one Population.
